Eternal Session was lucky enough to get an exclusive interview with Hayden
Panettiere over email. This was truly amazing, and now we have it posted here. It's rather short, but enjoy. This interview
was between us, and Hayden Panettiere. So please don't post it on your site without giving us credit. We prefer that
you state that the interview was given by Eternal Session, and have a link to us.
Note that this interview was taken on August 9th, 2006.
1. Did you enjoy doing Kairi's voice?
Hayden: Yes, it was so much fun!
2. We understand you worked with Haley Joel Osment and David Gallagher. What
was it like?
Hayden: It was so fun working with them! They are so funny and we always had so much
fun!
3. Are you anything like Kairi when it comes to personality?
Hayden: I think I am because Kairi loves adventure and so do I, and her personality
is so nice and loving, and everyone says I'm the same way.
4. Have you finished KH II yet?
Hayden: Yes
5. When you first learned about Kairi in the works of Kingdom Hearts, what
was your first impression?
Hayden: That she was a lot like me. Lol.
6. What are your thoughts on the KH II storyline?
Hayden: I thought it was so cool... and I'm not into computer games and things like
that, but my brother is, and when I read the storyline, I was like,"I am so going to play this game."
7. Being a talented voice actress, what other kinds of roles are you shooting
for?
Hayden: Well, as you know, I do sing and act, and I'm trying to get a CD going. You
probably know that I do lots of movies. Well, Bring It On: All Or Nothing is coming out, and right now I am just taking
a break, but a short one... But during my break, I'm writing new songs.
8. Do you look forward to voice acting in Kingdom Hearts 3?
Hayden: There is going to be a Kingdom Hearts 3, and I'm very excited!
9. What was it like voice acting Kairi? Were you ever nervous?
Hayden: It was fun! At first I was nervous that my voice wouldn't be exactly what
they're looking for, and I didn't know if I had to change my voice to higher or lower, but then they told me to talk like
I usually do, so after the first hour or so I wasn't nervous.
10. After finishing Kingdom Hearts II, would you say that it was a good experience?
Hayden: Oh yeah! I never thought I would be a character (or the voice of one) in
a game. So I think that it was a great experience.
