1. Playstation 3 Coming Soon?

It has been decided that Americans will get their hands on the trusty Play Station 3 starting November 17th of this year. Japan will receive it November 11th. Kingdom Hearts III will most likely be on PS3 according to a recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura. As for the price of the play station 3 gaming system? Oooh... Not too pretty. I suggest you start saving now. A 20 GB gaming system will cost $499 dollars. Not enough memory? No big deal. PS3 is also being made in a 60 GB model, but it will cost $599. You may not be interested, but if you want that KH III, you're going to have to want that new Playstation Model.
What are the features that highlight PS3? Well, the creator says it will be able to run playstation 2 and playstation 3 games, DVDs, and will have excelent graphics.
The system is compatible with EYETOY, KEYBOARDS, RECHARGABLE CONTROLLERS, and PERIPHERALS.
The PS3 will have a WIRELESS controller, and it will be able to run 24 hours straight without being recharged. It needs about 1-3 hours to recharge completely. This means all you have to do is plug it in before you go to bed, and it's ready to play the next day!
Playstation Experts garuntee a fantastic gaming experience.
"PlayStation 3 will allow for uber-realism when it comes to detailing character movements, real-time rendered landscapes, and all of the other visual goodness we simply love to see border the line of reality."

Final Fantasy 7
We will later search the web for the demo PS3 testers saw, but here is what they have to say about the Final Fantasy game.
"Anyone who's played Final Fantasy VII (and honestly, if you haven't, what the hell's wrong with you?) is no doubt familiar with this scene: Aeris strolls through the streets of Midgar, the camera zooms out until the encircling Mako reactors come into view, then cut to a train roaring into the station and out hops spikey-haired Cloud Strife, big-ass Buster Sword in hand and all. Now take that and imagine what it would look being rendered by a GPU like the PS3's RSX , and you'll likely get an idea for what we saw. Though blocky character models were an unmistakable touch to FF7, it was really something to see Aeris and Cloud digitally remastered and looking like actual people."
Turns out, this was just a paragraph describing the Demo. Square Enix has not yet announced the actual game, but why else would they make a top secret trailer for it???

The advancement of animation: Before and After

aerith.jpg

This is a cut image of Aerith in the exact same position and the exact same place as the new screenshot below. Look at the advancement in animation. This all took place in less than 20 years! Sure, the one on the left is looking pretty bad. It's fuzzy, rough-edged, cheap, and dull-coloured. But that was considered fine animation when the game had just came out. A scarce amount
of people, but still an amount of people, play this game still. Most likely they
do for Tetsuya Nomura's excelent story plot, rather than the graphics. The
main proof is that if people still love that classical FF7 game now, imagine
how many people will love the new FF7. Yeah, a big number. And better
yet, they'd probably like it better because of the amazing graphics displayed
on ps3.

aerithafter.jpg

Sure. Aerith's face isn't shown in this image, but it is safe to say that it is much better than the last one. It has smooth edges, excelent lighting, and looks very real, but still keeps the exciting franchise of Final Fantasy fresh. Now, for those of you who still play the old Final Fantasy 7 or know someone that does, can you imagine them or yourself when you get your hands on this baby?
I'd be shaking, let me tell you that. Final Fantasy may have been released in a time period where it's not best suited to the story line, but that did not stop Tetsuya Nomura at all. Think about it. You're sitting at your computer now, excited about this game, when in ten-thirty years you might be excited to see a 3rd version, or at least your "future kids" will.

Facts or fiction?
