One night a storm approaches Destiny Islands, the only home Sora had
ever known. He and his friends had planned to take a raft to another world starting with the birth of next's days morning.
But little did Sora know that he would be seperated from them that very night.
His journey began with him waking up in Traverse Town, where Sora learns
about himself and the ways of the Keyblade. He fights darkness with Donald and Goofy, hoping to reunite with Riku and Kairi.
Kingdom Hearts I ends with Riku shut behind the door of darkness, and
Kairi returned on the Island.
Sora finds himself on a long path with Donald and Goofy. He didn't know
where he was going, but he hoped to find Riku on the way.
*One Year Later*
Sora wakes up from a year long sleep, and sets out yet again with his
party to fight darkness, and find his friends. But this time around, there's much more in his way. Organization XIII, Nobodies,
Heartless, Darkness...
What will happen can only be answered by playing Kingdom Hearts 2.
